I am originally from the UK and moved to Australia in 2011 for a career and lifestyle change. My passion and mission is to help others achieve a healthy, fit lifestyle and improve quality of life. I believe the most effective way of being happy is through health and fitness.
I have always been into health and fitness from an early age and competed in soccer and rugby Union and still compete in soccer every Friday night for North Pine Silverbacks in the Northside Soccer League Over 35's.
I took up cycling around seven years ago and have never looked back I enjoy the freedom of the roads and the challenge when climbing the big hills and feeling the buzz after achieving the big climbs and long 100k rides. I encourage people to always take time out to try a new sport that they haven’t tried before.
In 2010 I weighed in at 98Kg and that was the moment I took up cycling to help me get out and lose the weight I had gained over the years. When I was dieting I made sure I had a final goal but also set small goals to achieve as I knew it would take me many months and years to reach my goal, I knew I would need to work hard to maintain my fitness and health once I had achieved my goal, but the smaller goals helped keep me motivated to get to my final goal.
In 2014 I achieved my cert 3 & 4 in fitness at TAFE and I am level 1 Fitness Professional with Fitness Australia.
I am a certificated Trainer with Punch-Fit (boxing)
